I just enjoy riding and racing my bike. After moving to the States in 2006, I discovered that the road racing scene here is much more relaxed as what I was used to from Europe and I started to get more into racing on the road. Before that, I had focused more on the offroad riding. I still love riding my mountainbike – nothing comes close to cruising downhill on a flowy trail through some breath-taking scenery. My most successful season so far has been 2011 where I was able to win the Luxembourg national elite road championships and finish 3rd overall at the USA Crits. As for 2012, I am really excited to build on last year’s success and help the team in our quest to become one of the best teams in the States. Personally, I started the year off right with a podium at the Luxembourg national cyclocross championships which earned me a spot on the national team and the chance to go to Cross Worlds. As far as achievements go, getting to go to Worlds is probably as good as it gets.
