Word on the street is that Mr. Ben Spies made a very fashionable appearance at the Dallas Margarita Ball in support of his favorite charity, Love For Kids. Also in attendance were Ben’s sweetheart, Ms. Patricia, friend/Elbowz teammate Simon Essl, and Simon’s much better half, Ms. Samantha. Fun was had by all, supporting such a […]

How it all went down.. TX State RR Championships

By: Heath Blackgrove Although it was my first time racing the Pro 1 Chris Hipp Memorial Texas State Road Championships I was really motivated for the race. I had heard a lot about how good the Fort Hood course was and even the constant rain we had the morning of the race couldn’t change my […]

Fall time…

The beauty of fall reminds us to turn a new leaf and grow more beautiful each year. I really think nature is trying to remind us subtly that its growth, strength, magnificence and splendor only come from one place. From the inside out 🙂

A little motivation…

By: the man himself, Mr. Marcotte. “There are many aspects to success; material wealth is only one component. …But success also includes good health, energy and enthusiasm for life, fulfilling relationships, creative freedom, emotional and psychological stability, a sense of well-being, and peace of mind.” This is a photo from my place as I finished […]

The entire team rode amazing to clean up the primes and 66% of the podium spots. SATURDAY ROAD RACE: Once again, it was Eric Marcotte and […]

Insight from a loving wife…

Numbers..

By: Christian Helmig As we are finally back in Texas for a while and we have some down time, I get to catch up with sorting through all my files from the last couple of weeks of racing. Usually I don’t pay too much attention to the overall values for a month but now that […]

Summertime racing in Texas

By: Christian Helmig One of the downsides to racing out of Texas is that there is barely any racing going on once summer hits and it gets “too hot”. Fortunately, there was a small mountainbike race here in Dallas last weekend and I so I finally got to race an off road race again. It […]

From the RABBITS mouth…

of the Cascade Cycling Classic: A View From The Elbowz Racing Team Car I knew it was going to be an interesting day when I wiped grease from my pliers and made a peanut butter sandwich. Stage 5 of the Cascade Cycling Classic was an 83 mile circuit race that winds and twists through a […]
